The team at Educational Directions is devastated by the news that our revered managing partner, Dr. Jerry Larson, passed away on August 27, 2024 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Jerry was an integral part of Educational Directions for more than twenty years, serving as managing partner since 2018. Jerry valued relationships and excellence, and he brought and modeled a deep appreciation for a personalized, candid and common-sense appproach to search work, consulting and executive coaching. Jerry befriended, helped and counseled countless school leaders and educators over the years, including all of us. We will carrry on the important and needed work of Educational Directions in his memory and honor. We send all of our caring thoughts to Jerry's wife and son at this heartbreaking time.
